OUR MISSION

Four Pillars of Purpose

Everything the NCLA does flows through these four commitments — to our members, to residents, and to the communities where co-living thrives.

Advocate

We champion co-living-friendly policies at local, state, and federal levels — giving our members a powerful voice in the halls of government.

Educate

From operator certification to resident best-practices, NCLA delivers the knowledge resources that elevate the entire sector.

Collaborate

We build bridges — between operators, investors, municipalities, and residents — fostering a community-driven ecosystem for co-living.

Elevate

We raise the professional bar — establishing standards, recognizing excellence, and helping our members deliver world-class co-living experiences.

How Is The National Co-Living Conference different from other real estate conferences or co-living events?

Other real estate conferences have huge value, but they do not focus solely on Co-Living. Local and regional Co-Living events remain absolutely essential and important. However, The National Co-Living Conference is the only annual gathering of top co-living experts, Investors, Operators, Realtors, & Professionals from across the country. It started in 2025 and is trusted and endorsed as the official event that belongs to the Co-Living Movement. The Co-Living Conference Advisory Board, which shares ownership in the conference, ensures the conference always exists to best represent and benefit the entire Co-Living Movement.
